Shipping Policy
Thank you for visiting and shopping at The Bikepacking Bothy. Below are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.
1. Processing Times
All orders are processed within 1–3 business days. We dispatch orders on business days, excluding bank holidays. Courier delivery days may vary.
Please note that some items may be unavailable at our local warehouse but available from our main warehouse or supplier. If any part of your order is affected, we will contact you via email to inform you of a dispatch delay of approximately 2–5 days.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there is a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Click & Collect is available from our unit in Loanhead, by appointment only. We will call or email you to arrange a suitable day and time for collection. The address is St. Margaret's Farm Business Units, St. Margaret's Farm, Unit 12, Loanhead, EH20 9SS
2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 for Standard delivery and Royal Mail Tracked 24 for Express delivery.
Shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout, including a £0.50 handling charge towards packaging and dispatch costs.
Free Standard delivery is available on orders of £100 or more. Express delivery remains chargeable.
Delivery estimates are shown at checkout and apply from dispatch, in addition to our 1–3 business day processing time. Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.

3. Delivery Locations
We currently ship to addresses within the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland).
We do not ship to PO Boxes or BFPO addresses at this time.
4. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking
You will receive a shipment confirmation email once your order has shipped, containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
5. Lost or damaged deliveries
If your order arrives damaged or appears to be lost in transit, please contact hello@bikepackingbothy.com with your order number.
For damaged deliveries, please retain the packaging and provide photographs where possible to help us investigate.
We will contact the delivery provider and arrange an appropriate resolution. You do not need to pursue a claim with the courier yourself. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
6. International Shipping Policy
We currently do not ship outside the UK.
