Returns and refunds

The Bikepacking Bothy is a trading name of Rock ’n’ Road Ltd.

Our 30-day returns offer

You may return unused items in their original condition and packaging within 30 days of receipt for a refund, exchange or store credit. Please provide proof of purchase, such as your order number.

For change-of-mind returns received after 30 days but before 60 days from purchase, we may, at our discretion, offer store credit equal to 50% of the original purchase price, less any applicable postage costs.

We do not accept change-of-mind returns under this additional offer after 60 days. These conditions do not limit your statutory cancellation rights or rights concerning faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods.

How to return an item

Please email hello@bikepackingbothy.com with your order number and details of your return. We will provide instructions.

Please package items securely. We recommend retaining proof of postage.

You are responsible for return postage when returning an item because you have changed your mind. We will cover reasonable return postage costs for faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed items. Contact us to arrange this.

Your UK online cancellation rights

For most online purchases, you may cancel without giving a reason by notifying us within 14 days of receiving your goods. You then have a further 14 days to send them back.

You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. Original packaging is not a condition of exercising this right, although we ask you to return it where possible. We may reduce your refund for loss of value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods’ nature, characteristics and functioning.

When you cancel your entire order under this right, we will refund the standard outward delivery charge. Any additional cost for premium delivery is not refundable.

We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

Please contact hello@bikepackingbothy.com as soon as you discover a fault, damage or an incorrect item, including your order number and photographs where helpful.

We will arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights. Our change-of-mind deadlines and packaging conditions do not restrict these rights.

Exceptions

Statutory change-of-mind cancellation rights do not normally apply to personalised or custom-made goods, goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, or sealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed.

These exceptions do not remove your rights if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

For hazardous goods, including fuel or gas canisters, contact us before posting so that suitable transport arrangements can be discussed.

Exchanges

Contact us to arrange an exchange. Alternatively, you may return an eligible item for a refund and place a separate order for the replacement.

Refunds

Refunds will be made to your original payment method unless we agree otherwise. We will notify you when your refund has been processed. Your payment provider may take additional time to display it.
